We place a clear disclosure at the top of every article containing affiliate links. We don't bury it at the bottom.

We only recommend things we've either personally tested or rigorously researched. If we haven't used a piece of hardware or installed the software ourselves, our recommendation is based on deep research, spec analysis, and years of industry experience. We don't blindly link to garbage for a quick buck. A commission isn't worth our credibility.

Sponsorships and paid reviews

Paid reviews: we don't accept them. You cannot pay us to write a positive review. Full stop.

Site sponsorships: we're open to clearly marked sponsorships—a labeled banner ad or a newsletter sponsor slot. Sponsors have zero editorial control over what we write. If a sponsor's product is bad, we'll say it's bad.
